Today in the Southeast there are a staggering 8.5 million residents
that do not have home Internet and a computer.
Since the Shelter-In-Place announcements, Our staff and volunteers have distributed more than 1,000 devices.
Typically, we receive computers from the government agencies or companies cycling out their older inventory, however due to COVID-19 closures, incoming device donations have decreased. We need your help to replenish our inventory to continue this important work.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Reach out to your networks and encourage them to activate their company IT teams in charge of managing hardware inventory. Providing computers that will support our disconnected families is an essential service.
We are ready and able to pick up bulk quantities of new and used devices throughout the Southeast and get them into the hands of students. Our biggest need is working laptops and Chromebooks that can be refurbished for a student's use.
